Coffee girls can run the world, especially if we can make our own iced coffee at home! With spring around the corner, I love sitting in the sun with a nice iced coffee and a book.
If that sounds like heaven to you too, follow my recipe below
You'll need
Boiling water
Cooled water
Milk
Granulated sugar
Syrup - my favourite is hazlenut
Ice or coffee ice cubes

Start off with 1 tsp of instant coffee and 1 tsp of sugar in your favourite mug or Mason jar, add a splash of boiling water to dissolve the granules, then add 1 or 2 tsp syrup, depending on how sweet you like your coffee, then add a splash of cooled water and stir. Next add your milk, around 200ml and finally, your ice. I like to make my own coffee ice cubes so that my coffee doesn't get watered down, here's my recipe. But you can use normal ice cubes too!

My coffee ice cubes recipe makes an iced coffee that isn't as strong as this one but it's quicker to make.
You can use any flavour syrup you like, I enjoy Monin syrups, but also like The Skinny food Co. range as they have SO much choice, their white chocolate syrup is delicious on pancakes too!
I am trying to lose weight at the moment, so I like a sweet iced coffee when I crave a chocolate binge, and so The Skinny Food Co. syrups are great because they're zero fat, zero calorie, zero sugar & vegan friendly!
If you try this, let me know what you think
